Services for Families
Finding the Right Support for You and Your Family
At Gedney Church End Primary Academy, we recognise that every family can experience challenging times.
Whether you need advice about parenting, relationships, bereavement, emotional wellbeing, substance misuse or wider family circumstances, support is available. Asking for help is a positive step, and you do not have to manage difficulties alone.
If you are unsure where to turn, please talk to us. A member of the academy team will listen and, where appropriate, help you identify services that may be able to support you and your family.
If You Need Urgent Help
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999.
If you have concerns about the safety or welfare of a child, please also speak to a member of our academy's safeguarding team.

Please Talk to Us
Sometimes it can be difficult to know what help you need or where to begin looking for it.
You don't need to have the answer before speaking to us.
If something is affecting your child or family, please contact the academy. Where appropriate, we can listen to your concerns, discuss what support may be helpful and signpost you towards relevant services.
Seeking help is not a sign that something has gone wrong. Sometimes every family needs a little extra support.
Working Together
We believe that children achieve their best when families, the academy and other professionals work together.
Whatever circumstances your family may be facing, our priority is to ensure that our learners feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
Please reach out. There is support available, and you do not have to face difficulties alone.
