Mental Health Support

You Are Not Alone

At Gedney Church End Primary Academy, we recognise that there may be times when children, parents, carers or other family members need additional support with their mental health and wellbeing.

Asking for help is a positive step. If you or someone in your family is struggling, there are organisations that can provide confidential information, advice and support.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999.

If you are worried about your child's emotional wellbeing or mental health, you can also speak to a member of our academy team. We will listen to your concerns and help you consider what support may be available.

Supporting Your Child

If you are concerned about your child's mental health or emotional wellbeing, you do not need to manage it alone.

Please talk to us if something is affecting your child. This might include worries or anxiety, changes at home, bereavement, friendships, behaviour, difficulties attending school or anything else that may be affecting their wellbeing.

Where appropriate, we can work alongside you to consider what support your child may need in school and signpost you towards additional support.

Talking about a difficulty is often the first step towards getting the right help.
